...but you can't take Philadelphia out of the girl. Lemon sticks are an old Philadelphia tradition that we enjoyed at the Devon Horse Show every spring for years on end. So, when I happened to have a bag of juicy lemons, I couldn't resist the all natural (yet full of sugar) lemon sticks from Whole Foods to stick in the lemons and slurp the juice. It is tough to find this item without artificial yellow coloring, and let's just say, artificial yellow coloring is not in our repertoire. For full disclosure, the kids were enjoying such lemon sticks at 7 am on Christmas morning...they are early risers to say the least!
