Make Your Own Pizza

Mushrooms, spinach, onions, basil and olives adorn these children's pizzas made with Muir Glen diced tomatoes and gluten free tortillas. All I did was chop a few things, set them out for the kids and they created these tasty results. I liked Luke's best, or I would have had he let me taste it, with tons of basil and spinach, a few mushrooms, topped with olive oil and balsamic vinegar. Lizzie ruthlessly rejected the tortilla (she prefers Ezekial sprouted whole grain tortillas) and decided to go for a casserole. Expecting her to just dump the toppings in the dish, I was quite shocked when I saw this beautiful design. Perry also went for design value (hopefully not more than nutritional value) in her symmetrical pizza.
To save myself some trouble, we used the same stoneware for each pizza so I cooked them individually and I made the kids eat one at a time which is our system on Thursdays with guitar lessons rocking the dinner table...
I think I see Susannah's odd snack of peanut butter and kiwi in the background...

  2. Making your own pizza is the easiest kid food to make. And the best part is they can customize it any way they want.

    Great post.
