Huge List of Children's Easy Snacks

These are some easy kids' snacks that I recommend to people both with picky and adventurous youngsters. They use simple ingredients (some are even packaged) and their satisfying textures and flavors make young mouths sparkle with delight. We do our best to pair a protein / fat (nut, seed, legume or higher protein grain) with fruit or sweeter items to combat that blood sugar spike that brings out the wild in kids.

Packaged snacks in a pinch: (All are Gluten Free and Vegan)

  • Ed's of Maine Vegan Raw Kale Chips
  • Kind Bar Nut Delight (other flavors all too much sugar)
  • Organic Grandy Oats Nori Sesame Cashews from Maine
  • Lara bar (cashew cookie, pecan pie, ginger snap, peanut butter cookie)
  • Betty Lou's Spirulina Ball
  • The Good Bean Roasted Chick Peas (not terrific ingredients but OK in a pinch)
  • Bhuja (decadence:))
