Luke Zimmerman Guest Blogger



Today for lunch we are having great Mediterranean salad that I made. We had to make it 3 different ways to please different people. Here is the basic recipe:
ingredients:
chick peas
cucumber
artichoke hearts
oregano
olive oil
lemon juice

Our olive oil oil is organic from Spain. The artichoke hearts are grilled and they come in olive oil.

My picky sisters wanted theirs different. Perry wanted no artichoke hearts and she wanted chopped red pepper. Susannah said she did not want oregano but she liked it anyway. My grandmother and my aunt are here and I hope they like my salad. My mom is gonna put it over lettuce, arugula and other mixed greens.

I like using a sharp knife to cut in the kitchen. I also like getting out the ingredients and coming up with different flavors to put in my food.
